HAM6 ANIM5 of Songokuu from Dragonball(Z)
----------------------------------------
This is the HAM6 version of the Songokuu animation. Anim OP5 is used so the
anim *should* play all Amiga models. Note that I did not test play it on any
computer other than my A1200.
The HAM6 version looks rather bad, since I only used a 320x256 screen for the
HAM8 original. With HAM8 you could read the logo on the front of the shirt, but
not with HAM6. AGA really makes a *lot* of difference both in image quality and
playback speed.
The original amimation was created using Imagine 3 and Mainactor, on an
Amiga 1200/40/EC030, 4MB Fast, no FPU.
The model of the adult Songokuu (maybe I'll do the young version next :)
in his usual standing pose, smiling confidently at his opponents, was created
mostly as a mixture of Imagine form objects. Three IFF textures were applied:
one for the face, one for the ears, and one for the logos on his clothing.
The entire anim is created in 3 days. The hardest part was modelling Songokuu's
clothing. I'm still not satisfied with the way it looks. Rendering the 49
frames took about 4 hrs.
This anim is freely distributable as long as credit is duely given ;)
Since the character is copyright of Toriyama Akira, the creator of the
Dragonball comics, no part of the anim may be used for any purpose other
than personal enjoyment.
Since I'm new to raytracing, I welcome any comments regarding the anim.

P.S. Since I've graduated the above account will terminate sometime in July
1994, so please don't send email after that.
P.P.S. My next project would be to add some action to the figure, as well as
improve the backdrop ;) Anyone with any helpful tips on how to animate
humanoid models with Imagine 3.0 will be much appreciated.
